Character Name: Seki Ray Shiroe
Canon: Toward the Terra (Anime)
AU/OC/Previous Game: None
Age: 14
Appearance: Image for reference: http://i43.tinypic.com/
Cause of Death: Dies in canon when trying to escape from educational station E-1077 and Keith is ordered to shoot his shuttle down. The space shuttle he is in explodes when it is hit and he dies.
Impact of Death: This will very largely depend on how much influence it turns out that the Gods have and how much the free will of the people brought to Thusia will be. The fact that he died will bother Shiroe, but he also states that he doesn't see much point in living under the SD system where free will is being removed. Obviously he would have preferred to be able to go to Terra or at least join up with the other Mu, but to begin with he will likely just act like it isn't a big deal and that it's better than being a slave to the computers. It'll be something he'll be unhappy with, but he will try to hide that. On the other hand, the moment that he starts to feel restricted by Thusia, he'll think that he's no better off dead and it'll start to bother him more and more. The fact that it was Keith that killed him will hit a lot harder though, but this is also something he really wouldn't talk to others about.

Character Info:
In the far off future humanity has killed of Terra (Earth) because of their pollution and have been forced to flee into space to find new places to live. To prevent the same thing from happening again humanity has entrusted themselves to the rules of Computers that regulate their everyday life and keeps the order. This new rule is called the Superior Domination and dissenters are promptly disposed off. All humans are now created as test tube babies and raised by foster parents until they turn 14, then their memories are wiped and they are sent to an educational station to learn whatever profession the Computers have deemed them most suitable for. A few hundred years before the start of the series genetically evolved humans with psychic powers started to appear, they were given the name “Mu” (short for Mutants) and listed as a threat to the SD regime. Any child that is found out to be one of them when they undergo the Adulthood Exam and memory wipe when they turn 14 are killed.
Shiroe was born in the city of Energia, known for producing great engineers and inventors. When he took his Adulthood Exam when he turned 14 he was deemed to be more suited to go to the Educational Station E-1077, the best station there is and that educates humanities future leaders. Something that the Adulthood Exam failed to do was discovering that he was a Mu, something it didn't fail at was erasing a lot of his memories of his childhood. This is something Shiroe hates with a passion, he remembers enough that he knows the name of his home city and that he really liked his foster parents, but he can't remember any details. To him passing the Adulthood Exam wasn't about growing up, it was being robbed of the most important things to him. Because of it he has an intense hatred for all Computers and how the SD system works and his biggest fear is to lose more of his memories. The fact that memory erasure and altering is something that commonly happens at Educational Stations really does not help.
In this way Shiroe is special. Despite getting into the school for the elite of the elite and acing most subjects with ease, even to the point where he is allowed to skip classes because he's so far ahead, he still speaks openly and vehemently against the system. This is something that is basically unheard of and he repeatedly gets called by the Mother Computer Eliza of the Station to corrective lectures but he still refuses to stop. In the end he starts digging a bit far into the past and true purpose of the Station after getting interested in Mother Eliza's favourite pupil Keith Anyan, and he ends up paying for it. Not only is he caught and discovered to be a Mu, his mind gets scrambled by all the tests to the point of insanity where he is just a hallucinating rambling wreck, but then he also get killed for it. (As a note here, I am going to assume death fixes the worst parts of having his mind fried since I don't want to play him with no sense of reality. I'm going to assume getting revived fixes him up to the state he was in before the tests went too far even if he'll remember what happened after them.)
As already said, Shiroe isn't afraid to speak his mind even if it will get him in trouble and he sees no need to put things nicely for others. Generally he tends to look down on others for just going with what the Computers tell them to and frequently call them things like pets or puppets. He also knows that he is really smart and talented and prefers to do things on his own since others would just “drag him down”. He doesn't hide the fact he considers others stupid or spineless and yes, he has gotten punched for it more than once and it doesn't stop him. On the other hand, it's not like he lacks social skills, he just doesn't usually bother with them. If there is someone he considers useful he won't hesitate to suck it up and be all civil and play the cute kid to get what he wants or get on their good side.
While Shiroe hates the parts of the SD system that espouse complete obedience to the Computers and its methods, he does buy into other parts of it. He thinks those most suited for it and those who put all their ambitions into it should get to the top and be the Elite of the system and he continuously strives to do better and does look up to those he recognizes as being more skilled than him. He thinks those that give up on their Education to just go raise children are losers and don't deserve any respect for just quitting and he can't stand people who just run away from their troubles. He's also really, really competitive. If he meets someone that is better than him in some way, he'll do anything he can to surpass them. This is mostly reflected with Keith in canon who is the top student at the Station and who Shiroe has a very one-sided rivalry with. The fact Keith continues to ignore him only makes Shiroe try harder and harder to get back at Keith though.
Shiroe may act like a cocky brat in public who seems to not care about repercussions for what he does and while he definitely still is emotional and occasionally has a bit of a temper, he tends to try to not show how much the memory loss is bothering him. Sure, he openly mocks the Computers and talks badly about the system and keeps pointing out its flaws, but he still talks about it like it's just an annoyance. Privately he still has nightmares of the Adulthood Exam and he'll even cry over what he lost and wish his mom was still there. The only item he has left from his childhood is a very battered Peter Pan book. This book is extremely important to him, and he keeps it with him at all times. It's probably one of the reasons why he is so adverse to growing up too, as he still wants Peter Pan to come and take him to Neverland.
Old Game Info:

Abilities (before Powercap): Shiroe is one of the Mu, genetically evolved humans who have developed psychic powers. Shiroe's code colour is yellow which according to an anime extra means his strength is in the offensive department. Abilities he actually ends up using in canon:Telekinesis, dream wandering, psychic blasts and psychic shields. Things that all Mu are capable of: resist brainwashing, transferring skills or concepts through thought, telepathy, mindreading, blocking out signals, hiding your own thoughts, hide from radars etc.
Something to note though is that Shiroe was never saved by the other Mu and really has no idea how the powers are supposed to be used. Whenever they show up in canon they are always spontaneous or used on accident. So while his powers had fully awakened at the point of his death, he still won't have any direct control over them. Oh, and when using anything more advanced than telepathy, he'd glow yellow.
And yet another thing I didn't know where to put. In exchange for having potentially hax psychic powers all Mu (with the exception of some Code Blue, which Shiroe definitely isn't) have some kind of physical disadvantage. Some have a really obvious thing like being mute or lacking an eye or limb etc. Others are just plain physically weaker than humans.
Nothing ever really gets specified with Shiroe in canon though, but he seems to manage school just fine, so it really can't be anything obvious. So, I’m going to assume that his weakness just takes the form in that he doesn’t take damage as well as normal humans, and that he takes a lot longer to heal (about twice the time). So unless supernaturally healed, that means he’s going to be wounded for quite some time. With Thusia's increased healing rate it should be back to a normal humans though. Bottomline is that he'll just be really weak physically.
Abilities (after Powercap): I've read over the power cap page and it doesn't say anything about powers that are purely for communicating. I'm going to assume that the telepathy will be largely untouched as long as I get permission from other players to use it. Canonly it only seems to work on humans/Mu and specifically psychic animals. It does not work on artificial beings and normal animals. Without any training at most it will be like having a buzz of surface thoughts going on around him since telepathy is automatically set to always on for Mu and he wouldn't be able to do more than that without training. I guess he could possibly send some thoughts telepathically to others if he is in trouble or is stressed. Same with the dreamwalking, I'm going to assume it is okay to accidentally enter others dreams as long as there is permission or to accidentally share dreams. Any form of mental shielding would not be useful without training.
As for the actual offensive/defensive stuff. Telekinesis would be limited to fairly small objects, moving around something weighting more than around just 5 kg would be incredibly difficult. The potential for accuracy won't be affected, but it would still require lots and lots of training. As for making psychic shields and psychic blasts, both will be very exhausting and blasts might work on blowing up something of thin wood and not metal like in canon (unless it's very brittle) while the shield can only be put up for a few seconds at a time.
Items Brought In: His Peter Pan book that he has kept since he was a child. It's just an ordinary book, but hidden at the back of it, beneath where has has written his name, is a microchip with the video of what he found at the secret floor of E-1077 and a message to Keith. This is the only thing he was carrying at the time of death so he won't be getting a second item.

Introduce yourself in a few sentences.
My name is Seki Ray Shiroe. Please call me Shiroe. First off, don't confuse me with those other sheep from the Station. I'm not like the others, I can actually think for myself and I don't need anyone telling me what to do. Not to mention I'm practically the best student E1077 has ever had, I wouldn't want to be clumped together with those morons.
Describe yourself physically.
I'm a fourteen-year-old boy with a good build and handsome face. I think it's important to think about your appearance, at least if you're going to go out in public. No one will take you seriously if you don't dress up for the occasion. And seriously, at least fix your hair, okay?
What was your childhood like?
What kind of question is this? You're not really asking this and expecting people to give details, are you? Of course it was a great one. I'm not going to forget those feelings. I refuse to forget even that!
Who is most important to you, and why?
My parents. Maybe others would consider that strange, but I think that would be a natural reply to a question like this. I will not forget that I had parents that took care of me and raised me, no matter what.
What's your biggest pet peeve?
Idiots and girls that bother me, I don't want anything to do with them, I just want to associate with smart or useful people. To be honest though.... if something annoys me even more, it's smart people who know something is wrong but refuses to speak up about it. If they're one of the few who can even realize it, they have no right to just stay silent.
Do you consider yourself an optimist or a pessimist? Why?
That's another stupid question. I consider myself a realist, of course. The world could change but it's too filled with sheep who does nothing for that to actually be a realistic outcome.
Where, or how, did you learn your most important skills?
At the Station. But just going with scheduled education wouldn't have gotten me as far as it has, self study to improve yourself is just as important. If you get lazy and complacent and expect knowledge to just be handed over to you, you might as well just go and become a commoner and raise children.
Do you think world peace is possible?
Sure, there are no wars right now, right? Not that I would call this world peaceful, but that is an entirely different thing. Humans being basically brainwashed and made slaves to some machines is not the better option. We should get to decide ourselves what to do with our lives.
Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
What's the point in staying silent? I know I'm right and I'm not going to be afraid and back down just because someone else says otherwise. I'm not afraid to get punched in the face just because I told someone the truth. Sadly, most people aren't even worth my time, but it really can't be helped.
What turns you on the most?
Turns me on? I've no interest in something like that. People who fall in love or get hopelessly attracted to others just lose all kind of judgement. Getting into a relationship only takes up your time and makes you lose sight of what is important.
Anything else you'd like to say?
You should work on your questions a little. Some of them are practically impossible to give any worthwhile answers to. But then, I guess the common people would just love to go on ranting about their turn ons and about how they're stupidly optimistic.
